At the outbreak of the corona-virus pandemic, face to face meetings were prohibited. As a result, meetings of the Parish Council were stopped.
The Government has now made changes to the requirements for Council meetings allowing meeting to be held by video conferencing on line.
The Parish Council will be holding ‘virtual’ meetings until the restrictions are lifted.
We will be using the ‘ZOOM’ platform. The meetings will be open to the public and last for max 40 minutes (meetings lasting more than that incur a charge which the council is seeking to avoid at this time).
The Agenda for the meeting will be posted on the website prior to the start. In order that we keep to the 40min. time constraint the questions/comments from the public item will be moved to the end of the agenda. If you wish to raise something or ask a question please email the clerk the day before the meeting or earlier.
If you would like to join the meeting you need to download the ZOOM app to your desktop/laptop/ipad. Once you are registered you will be able to join the scheduled meeting/s.
To join the meeting, you will need to get the meeting title and the password. Email the clerk for these.
We may have a few teething problems but hopefully these will be overcome, but your patience will be appreciated,
If you have any questions please email me on firstname.lastname@example.org
